My name is Ken Kniskern, and I am so thankful you took a moment to stop by and visit the online studio. I am a husband to an incredible wife and mother – Mandy, and proud father of 2 fantastic boys – Barrick and Brendon. I began my flirtation with photography at an early age, and it carried through to adulthood. Most recently I became enamored with taking photos of my kids, and the passion grew from there… Now this is simply what I do!
It seems that time races more and more quickly with every year that passes, and I often find myself wondering how relative it actually is to our age, or if the universe is indeed careening out of control. I still remember the agonizing wait between my birthday and Christmas as a child, and wonder if my children experience time the way we did growing up, or if time is moving just as quickly for them as it is for us now. During our few fleeting moments here on earth, we are occasionally blessed with wonderful moments that far too quickly turn to precious memories, and capturing those fleeting “Memory Moments” is what I do. The play of light on the innocent face of a child, the majesty of God’s creation, or the simple awkward smile that instantly warms a mother’s heart… That is why I love photography.
